| I am an Applied Climatologist with the Colorado Center for Astrodynamics Research at the University of Colorado. My background includes remote sensing, statistics, and more recently, societal impacts. My current research roughly falls under the umbrella of surface transportation and weather, with specific foci on maritime shipping in the Arctic and automobiles in the continental USA. Within the Arctic, I am mainly interested in sea-ice conditions related to shipping and developing seasonal, probabilistic sea-ice forecasts. Over the continental USA, I focus on driving decisions during hazardous weather events. For more details, please see my website at http://ccar.colorado.edu/~drobot | ||||
